    Final call for papers
    Abstract Submission is 1- 30 September 2004
    Notification of acceptance will be done by 15 December 2004.

    Presentations based both on recent research and experiments of PBL within the field of work and education are welcomed. We are looking for submissions from several areas of sciences and professional areas: education, engineering and technology, business, health and medical sciences, social and cultural sciences etc. The proposals should indicate the related sub-theme of the Conference:
    - Epistemology and Praxis
    - Curriculum and Learning Environments
    - Professional Development and Learning Management
    - Evaluation and Assessment.

    The abstract must be submitted using an Abstract Submission Form on the Conference web-site. The form is available starting 1 September 2004. The deadline for abstracts is 30 September. Abstracts should be written in English and should be a minimum of 100 and no more than 300 words including (max. four) key words. Abstracts are refereed to ensure that the proposal is relevant to the Conference. Abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book and on the Conference web-site.

    Please indicate the preferred type of presentation in your abstract: paper, poster or workshop.

    Paper presentations
    - The length of paper presentations is 20 minutes following with 10 minutes
    for discussion. The presenter can use an overhead projector, slides or
    data/video equipment during the presentation.
    Workshops
    - A workshop could be at maximum 1,5 hours and must include group activities
    described in an abstract.
    Poster presentations
    - Poster presenters are required to be available for discussion of their work
    during the designated poster sessions.

    Please note that if the abstract is accepted, the presenter must register before 15 April 2005 and attend the conference 9-11 June 2005. The acceptance of paper implies payment of the registration fee by all the presenters.

    Full papers
    Full paper submission is optional - deadline is 31 January 2005 Submitted full papers are refereed and proceedings book will be published. The detailed information and instructions about full papers will be available on the Conference web-site during November 2004.
